Miracles do exist! I am amazed!

We constantly submitted ourselves to the LORD throughout this journey.

By Evangeline Rodriguez

I delivered a beautiful baby boy last year May, and although the delivery experience was a rollercoaster ride due to the pandemic, I was grateful to Jesus for making it a smooth ride for my family and me. Jesus was always protecting us from the pandemic, and the past year was spent enjoying this new phase of my life, i.e., motherhood.

However, as I was excited about my little one turning one this year, the second wave of COVID hit India in May. Unfortunately, my entire family, including my parents, in-laws, me, my husband, and my little one, got infected by the deadly virus. My mom had a little severe infection (Thanks to the Almighty, she wasn't hospitalized).

I was extremely worried for her, my in-laws, and my baby. Also, during this time, a few people known to me succumbed to the virus. We constantly submitted ourselves to the LORD throughout this journey.

I was cribbing about how I could not celebrate my baby's birthday, baptism, or any other function, but then I realised that I should be grateful for the privilege I have and for HIS blessings since we all had only mild symptoms and fought this deadly virus within two weeks.

I realised that, yes, miracles do exist.

PRAISE THE LORD.
